Government Contracting Conditions
Durante Associates is an authorized contract holder with the United States General Services Agency as part of the “GSA Advantage” program, contract #GS10FO480M. As such, the firm has pre approved labor rates for use on all government contracts and subcontracts. This enables the company to meet the requirements for government contract awards with a minimum amount of time and paperwork, and in most cases does not require negotiation. Durante Associates is prepared to work on a fixed price basis, cost plus fee, or on a time and material basis to suit the client’s requirements. As a subcontractor on a government contract, Durante Associates will comply with all requirements of the prime contract.

Services Available
Under the terms and conditions of the Federal Supply Service, Durante Associates is pre qualified in several broad categories, referred to as “SINS” or Special Item Numbers. For example, SIN 871-200 responsibilities include design and project engineering with expertise in licensing energy plants and comprehensive understanding of the utility industry. Other services under this category include Energy Planning to meet policy and regulatory requirements, risk management, and energy choice analysis. Durante Associates capabilities go beyond these skills and also include knowledge of energy transportation and environment issues at the local, state, and federal levels. The firm’s past experience provides a strong background and understanding of regulatory and tax implications affecting the design and siting of plants.

For SIN 871-299, responsibilities encompass the strategic appraisal of entire energy programs, existing facilities, or the design and construction of new facilities. Durante Associates can also assist the client in making important decisions that will affect the efficiency and effectiveness of their energy programs and operations. The firm focuses on clean energy and environment evaluation assessments for various types of fuel sources and can provide the client with information and suggestions for improvement of energy efficiency and options for use of alternative energy sources.
